BIOGRAPHY
Born in Zaragoza in 1999, Miguel discovered the viola da gamba at the age of six, an instrument that captivated him with its intimate sonority and unique expressiveness. At seven he entered the Conservatorio de Música de Zaragoza, where he studied with Fernando Marín.
His commitment to the instrument led him, at 18, to move to Barcelona to pursue higher studies at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) under the guidance of Emmanuel Balsa, graduating with Honours. During this period he expanded his training with the baroque cello.
In 2021 he moved to The Hague to complete his Master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Mieneke van der Velden, graduating Cum Laude with special distinction for his "great virtuosity and musicality".
He has received guidance from performers such as Guido Balestracci, Marianne Muller, Myriam Rignol, Vittorio Ghielmi and Wieland Kuijken, and collaborates with artists such as Olivier Fortin (Ensemble Masques) and Manuel Minguillón.
