Camerata Patrimonio Sonoro
It is a musical project created by the brothers Carlos and Miguel Bonal Asensio, and artistically managed by the "Patrimonio Sonoro" Association. Depending on the characteristics and demands of the repertoire, they have various collaborators (harpsichordists, organists, etc.) for the preparation and offering of concerts, illustrated conferences and pedagogical projects. One of its main objectives is the interpretation based on a rigorous knowledge of the sources and treatises of the period in order to construct a sound discourse that is argued, but at the same time creative, sharply focused and detailed, in which, of course, there is always room for ornamentation and improvisation. Committed to the study and dissemination of the Pan-Hispanic Musical Heritage, its members carry out an important musicological research work under the scientific direction of Dr. Antonio Ezquerro (IMF-CSIC), which leads them to publish and promote certain studies, for the first time in modern times. In this sense, the Camerata Patrimonio Sonoro works intensively with the entity's publishing and record label, both in production and in the publication and supervision of different musical works. Likewise, from the formation, it persists in the generation of new audiences and artistic contexts, committing itself to disseminating Early Music in unusual contexts and before unusual audiences (above all in rural areas), also participating in numerous festivals and cycles of national and international concerts.
All its members have specialised in Early Music, having trained at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón, the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
